Google Apps?

Before entering the class Educational Technology, I had no idea what the term Google App was.  To my surprise Google Apps can be very useful. For example, when working on a group project and all members of a group are not able to meet. The selling point about Google Apps is the ability to collaborate on a project at the same time, which is different from the traditional Office Apps.  Wether using word, excel, or even just a document. The disadvantage is, like myself prior to an educational technology class I had no idea how to use a Google App or that it even existed.
